Angel Doebler, Director of Youth and Family Ministries at St. Mark’s Episcopal in Venice, Florida shared the following thoughts from her experience with EMX this past summer. She took her group to do Hurricane Recovery work along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

"My youth group had never done a Mission Trip of this caliber before.  I was truly going into it with no expectation whatsoever; except to say I was pleased that we were going, that the youth had shown interest and we were making it happen.  Once we were at our site and working, the kids totally impressed me, their work ethic, their drive, their abilities to exceed the standard and their willingness to help. It was truly a life changing experience for the kids and for me.  EMX is definitely on our schedule every summer indefinitely!"
