Celebrant: “Will you seek and serve Christ in all persons,
loving your neighbor as yourself?”

People: “I will, with God’s help.”

BCP p. 305 & 417

Ever wanted to go on a mission experience and didn’t know where to begin? We can help! Episcopal Mission Exchange was written and developed in response to the 2003 and 2006 General Convention Priority on Youth. EMX is a new initiative for youth and adults who accompany youth. The Office of Youth Ministries of the Episcopal Church, in partnership with Passport, Inc., recognizes and claims the desire to respect the dignity of all God’s people through mission opportunities, work, worship and fellowship. When participating in EMX parish, diocesan and school groups will be paired with a trusted mission opportunity. Free of charge, EMX will provide you with all the tools you need to have a successful mission experience, such as a workbook full of helpful ideas to help you plan your mission experience. The cost to your group will be your transportation, lodging and meals while on the mission trip.
